​When Cedar Valley Seminary Foundation in Osage, Iowa, acquired the old newspaper publishing building, they knew the printing presses could no longer be relied upon to tell the communities' stories, but they believed the building could. This unassuming town of less than 4,000 was the home to an Olympic Medalist, an engineer behind the Blackbird Spy Plane, and more. I worked with a talented team to capture those stories and give them impact through interactive and visually arresting exhibits. The exhibit structure designs took their cues from paper weaving it's way through giant presses.
